Billing & Payments

What you'll learn
  • How to access the Billing page and navigate its sections
  • How AutoTalk's subscription model works with usage-based limits
  • What billing information is available at a glance

The Billing page is your central hub for managing everything related to your AutoTalk subscription, payment history, and resource consumption. You can access it by clicking Billing in the sidebar.

How billing works

AutoTalk uses a subscription-based model with usage limits tied to your plan. Every new account starts on the Free plan, which gives you access to platform features with a small set of usage allowances. When you are ready for more capacity, upgrade to the Pro plan.

Each plan comes with monthly limits on key resources: compute time, AI tokens (input and output), storage, and database. Your billing page gives you full visibility into how much of each resource you have used and how much remains. On paid plans, usage beyond the plan allowance is billed at retail overage rates.

What you'll find on the Billing page

The Billing page is organized into several sections, each accessible from the main view or through the sidebar sub-items:

  • Subscription -- Your current plan, subscription status, and subscription ID. This is where you manage your subscription settings.
  • Invoices -- A chronological list of all invoices showing dates, amounts, and payment status. Click "View all" (View all) to see the full history.
  • Monthly Usage -- Real-time meters tracking your consumption of compute time and AI tokens against your plan limits.
  • Static Usage -- Current storage and database consumption, including total used, file count, and remaining capacity.

The sidebar within the Billing section also provides direct links to:

  • Subscription
  • Subscription history
  • Usage history

Billing currency and payments

Payments are processed securely. When you subscribe or your subscription renews, the saved payment method is charged automatically.

tip

Check your Monthly Usage section regularly to understand your consumption patterns. If you are consistently approaching your limits, you may want to optimize your usage or review your overage costs.
