Your user profile contains your personal account information. It is separate from your employee profile within a company -- the user profile is tied to your login account, while the employee profile is specific to a particular company.
Accessing your profile
Navigate to My Account > User Profile in the sidebar. This opens the profile edit form where you can view and update your personal details.
Language
The Language field sets your preferred interface language. It controls the text displayed throughout AutoTalk, including menus, buttons, labels, and system messages.
- Open your User Profile.
- Find the Language dropdown.
- Select your preferred language. Available options: ptBR (Brazilian Portuguese, default), en (English), es (Spanish).
- Click Save. The interface updates immediately.
The language setting is saved to your user profile, so it persists across sessions and devices.
Enable notifications
The "Enable notifications" checkbox controls whether you receive in-app notifications from AutoTalk. When enabled, AutoTalk can alert you about events such as:
- New customer messages or conversations assigned to you
- Appointment bookings, cancellations, and reschedules
- System changes such as channel issues or billing warnings
- Team activity such as invitations or role changes
Unread notifications may appear as badges in the interface. Opening a notification can also take you directly to the related conversation or event so you can respond quickly.
Switching between light and dark mode
AutoTalk supports two visual themes: light mode and dark mode. You can switch between them in two ways.
Option 1: Through My Account
- Click on My Account in the sidebar or user menu.
- Find the Dark mode toggle.
- Click the toggle to switch between dark mode and light mode.
- The interface updates instantly.
Option 2: Through the sidebar footer
At the bottom of the sidebar, there is a "Switch to dark mode" button (or "Switch to light mode" if dark mode is already active). Click this button to toggle between themes without navigating to your account settings.
When to use each theme
| Theme | Best for |
|---|---|
| Light mode | Bright or well-lit environments. Provides high contrast for easy reading during daytime use. This is the default theme. |
| Dark mode | Low-light environments or evening work sessions. Reduces screen brightness and can help reduce eye strain during extended use. |
Your theme preference is saved to your account and applies every time you log in.
If you spend long hours managing conversations in AutoTalk, try switching to dark mode during evening sessions. Many users find it easier on the eyes when working in dimly lit environments.
