Some notifications include action buttons -- quick-access controls that let you respond to an event or navigate to related content without having to manually search for it in the application.
How action buttons work
When you open a notification that involves an actionable event, you will see one or more buttons alongside the notification message. Clicking an action button performs the associated task immediately, saving you time.
For example, a notification about a new customer message might include a button to jump directly to that conversation. A notification about a pending appointment might let you confirm or decline it with a single click.
Common action buttons
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| View conversation | Opens the related conversation in the Inbox so you can read and reply |
| Go to event | Navigates to the calendar event associated with the notification |
| Accept | Confirms a pending appointment request or invitation |
| Reject | Declines a pending appointment request or invitation |
| Dismiss | Clears the notification from your list |
Using action buttons
- Open the Notificacoes page from the sidebar, or click on a notification alert.
- Read the notification details to understand what happened.
- Click the appropriate action button to respond.
After you take an action, the notification is marked as handled and will no longer appear as unread.
Action buttons are especially useful for managing appointment requests. Instead of navigating to the calendar, finding the event, and then accepting it, you can approve or decline directly from the notification. This keeps your workflow fast and uninterrupted.
