Services
- What services are and how they fit into your business workflow
- Where to find the Services page in the application
- How services connect to employees and calendar events
Services define the offerings your business provides to customers -- haircuts, consultations, massages, classes, repairs, or any other appointment-based work. They are a core building block that ties together your employees, calendar, and customer-facing booking experience.
Where to find services
To access your services list, navigate to Profissional > Servicos in the sidebar menu. This opens the Services page, which displays all the services you have created in a standard list view. The page title reads "Servicos" and includes an "Add new services" button at the top for creating new entries.
The full URL path for the services page follows the pattern /dashboard/{employeeId}/dynadata/list/services, where {employeeId} corresponds to the currently active employee profile.
Why services matter
Services are used throughout AutoTalk in several important ways:
- Calendar events -- When you create or edit a calendar event, you select a service to define what the appointment is for. The service determines the type of work being performed and can influence the duration of the booking.
- Employee assignments -- Services can be linked to specific employees, so only qualified team members appear as available for a given service.
- AI Agents -- Your chatbot can reference your service list when helping customers decide what to book.
- Scheduling page -- If you share a public booking link, customers see your available services and can choose accordingly.
Service details
Each service includes key information that describes the offering:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The service name displayed to clients (e.g., "Haircut", "Consultation") |
| Duration | How long the service takes, used to calculate time slots |
| Price | The cost of the service |
| Assigned employees | Which team members can provide this service |
Keep your service list focused and easy to understand. Use clear, descriptive names so that both your team and your customers immediately know what each service involves.
