Calendar Views

What you'll learn
  • The four calendar views available: Dia, Semana, Mes, and Agenda
  • How to switch between views and navigate dates
  • When each view is most useful

AutoTalk's calendar provides four distinct views so you can look at your schedule at different levels of detail. Switch between them depending on whether you need to manage a single day's appointments or get a high-level overview of the entire month.

The four views

Dia (Day view)

The Day view shows a single day broken into hourly time slots. Each appointment appears as a block within its time slot, displaying the client name and service. This view is ideal when you want to see exactly what is happening throughout a specific day and identify open slots for new bookings.

Use the Day view when you need to:

  • See your full schedule for today or a specific date
  • Identify available time slots for walk-in clients
  • Get a detailed look at back-to-back appointments

Semana (Week view)

The Week view displays a seven-day grid with columns for each day of the week — dom (Sunday) through sab (Saturday). Hourly time slots run vertically, and events appear as blocks within their respective day columns. This view gives you a broader picture while still showing individual appointment details.

Use the Week view when you need to:

  • Plan your upcoming week and spot gaps in your schedule
  • Compare workload across different days
  • Find the best day and time for a new appointment

Mes (Month view)

The Month view shows the entire month in a traditional calendar grid. Each day cell displays event indicators (dots or small labels) so you can see at a glance which days are busy and which are open. Clicking on a specific day takes you into a more detailed view for that date.

Use the Month view when you need to:

  • Get an overview of how busy the month looks
  • Spot patterns such as heavy booking days versus quiet days
  • Navigate quickly to a specific date in the future

Agenda (Agenda list view)

The Agenda view presents your events as a chronological list rather than a grid. Each entry shows the event date, time, client, and service in a simple, scrollable format. This is the easiest view to scan when you want a straightforward rundown of upcoming appointments.

Use the Agenda view when you need to:

  • Quickly review what is coming up next
  • See a clean list without the visual complexity of a grid
  • Share or print a simple schedule summary

Switching between views

At the top of the calendar page, you will see four buttons labeled Dia, Semana, Mes, and Agenda. Click any button to switch to that view immediately. The calendar remembers which date you are looking at, so switching views keeps you on the same date range.

  • Arrow buttons — Click the left or right arrows next to the month and year header (for example, "fevereiro de 2026") to move backward or forward. In Day view, the arrows move one day at a time. In Week view, they move one week. In Month view, they move one month.
  • Mini-calendar panel — The compact calendar at the bottom of the screen is always available regardless of which view you are in. Tap any date in the mini-calendar to jump directly to that date in your current view.
  • Click a date in Month view — Clicking on a specific day in the Month grid switches you to the Day view for that date, letting you drill down for details.
tip

Start with the Semana (Week) view as your day-to-day default. It provides the best balance between seeing individual appointments and understanding your weekly workload. Switch to Dia (Day) when you need precision and Mes (Month) when you need to plan ahead.
