AutoTalk is built around companies. Every conversation, client record, calendar event, and integration belongs to a specific company. After you log in, you need to choose which company you want to work with. This is called the company context, and it determines what data you see and what actions you can take.

How the company context works

Once you select a company, the app URL includes a company and employee identifier (for example, something like /company/123/employee/456). Everything you do in the app -- sending messages, managing clients, configuring channels -- happens within that company context. If you belong to more than one company, you can switch between them without logging out.

Selecting a company after login

  1. After logging in at https://app.autotalk.io, you will see the Company Selection screen if you are associated with more than one company.
  2. A list of companies you belong to will be displayed, each with an Access button.
  3. Click Access on the company you want to open.
  4. You will be taken to that company's Conversations (Inbox) page, which is the main landing page.

If you belong to only one company, you may be taken directly to the Inbox without seeing the selection screen.

Creating a new company

If you are starting fresh or want to set up a separate business, you can create a new company:

  1. On the Company Selection screen, click Create new company.
  2. Enter your company name and fill in any additional details such as address, phone number, or logo.
  3. Click Create to finalize the setup.
  4. You will be taken directly to the new company's dashboard, where you can begin configuring services, channels, and team members.

Company invitations

Other AutoTalk users can invite you to join their company. When you have pending invitations, they appear on the Company Selection screen:

  • Accept -- Click this to join the company. You will be assigned a role (such as employee or administrator) chosen by the person who invited you.
  • Reject -- Click this to decline the invitation. The company owner will be notified.
  • Block company -- Click this if you do not want to receive any future invitations from that company.

Leaving a company

If you no longer want to be part of a company, you can leave it:

  1. Open the company options on the Company Selection screen or within the company settings.
  2. Click Leave the Company.
  3. Confirm your decision.

After leaving, you will no longer see that company's data or receive its notifications.

Switching companies from the sidebar

You do not need to log out to switch between companies. While you are working inside a company, you can switch to a different one at any time:

  1. Open the sidebar menu on the left side of the screen.
  2. Under the Profissional section, click Trocar profissional (Switch employee/professional).
  3. You will see a list of companies and employee profiles you have access to.
  4. Select the company or employee profile you want to switch to.
  5. The app will reload in the new company context, taking you to that company's Inbox.

This is especially useful if you manage multiple businesses or work as a professional across different organizations.

You can belong to as many companies as you need. Each company has its own settings, clients, channels, and billing. Switching between them is instant and does not require logging out.
