After you create your AutoTalk account, you must verify your email address before you can fully access the platform. Email verification confirms that you own the address you registered with and ensures that important notifications (password resets, conversation alerts, billing updates) reach the right person.

Why verification is required

AutoTalk uses your verified email as the primary way to communicate with you. Until your email is verified, certain features may be restricted. Verifying your email also protects your account by making sure nobody else can register with your address.

How to verify your email

  1. Check your inbox. After completing the sign-up process at https://app.autotalk.io, open the inbox of the email address you used to register.
  2. Find the verification email. Look for a message from AutoTalk with a subject line such as "Verify your email" or similar. The email contains a unique verification link.
  3. Click the verification link. Clicking the link will open AutoTalk in your browser and confirm your email address.
  4. See the confirmation. After clicking the link, you will be redirected to AutoTalk and shown a success message confirming that your email has been verified (for example, "Email verified successfully!").
  5. Continue to the app. Once verified, you can proceed to select or create a company and start using AutoTalk.

Didn't receive the verification email?

If you do not see the email in your inbox within a few minutes, try the following:

  • Check your spam or junk folder. Email providers sometimes filter automated messages. Look in your spam, junk, or promotions folder.
  • Confirm your email address. Make sure you entered the correct email address during sign-up. A small typo (for example, "gmial.com" instead of "gmail.com") can prevent delivery.
  • Resend the verification email. On the verification prompt screen in AutoTalk, click the Resend button to send a new verification link. Note that there is a cooldown period between resend attempts, so you may need to wait a minute or two before resending.
  • Check with your email administrator. If you are using a corporate email address, your company's email system may block messages from unknown senders. Ask your IT team to whitelist emails from AutoTalk.

Adding an email to your profile

If you signed up using a social login provider (Google or Facebook) and your profile does not have a registered email address, AutoTalk will prompt you to add one. You can do this by going to your profile settings and entering a valid email address. A verification email will then be sent to that address, and you will need to click the link to confirm it.

tip

Keep your verified email address up to date. If you ever change your email, you can update it in your profile settings, but you will need to verify the new address before it becomes active. This ensures you always receive important account notifications.
